Dentures

A denture is a removable appliance that can be fabricated to replace missing teeth. At Higgins Dental we are able to make full, partial, immediate, acrylic and chrome dentures for our patients depending on their needs.

 

A partial denture is used to replace the gaps between any remaining teeth. Partial dentures are usually easier to adjust to as the retention is obtained by utilising the existing teeth. 

 

A full denture is used to replace all missing natural teeth. Full dentures are fabricated to allow better function when chewing and for an aesthetic smile.

 

An immediate denture is used to replace missing teeth immediately after they have been extracted until a permanent denture can be made or other tooth replacement options can be undertaken.
